2002 vw jetta has been sitting in yard for 5 yrs very low millege what do i have to do to get back to driveing it

I assume that by "sitting for 5 years" means it has not been started for 5 years? If that's the case, the fuel is bad,It may have significant surface rust on the cylinder walls......piston rings could be stuck due to surface rust...possible clogged fuel filter and the cooling system could have frozen and thawed over 5 years if the antifreeze was not good.............. (if you live in a cold area)..Oil and filter needs to be changed before starting for the first time.I would try to turn the motor over by hand at first....to insure it turns over.... most importantly is i would have someone with considerable automotive knowledge help you....there are a lot of variables when a motor has not run in 5 years....even if some of the above has happened it can still be brought back to life....but needs to be done correctly..hope this helps
