engine dies in traffic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Jetta starts and runs well but will die after 1 to 2 miles.
Will not restart until I turn off ignition and crank again. Replaced plugs, coils,
fuel filter, and mass air flow with no change!

thank you and God bless you if that's it. I'm retired and this mess just keeps costing me. I hope your answer will omit a 100.00 an hour mechanic take care
