How do I check the transmission fluid in my 03 vw jetta? Where is it at?

It's a sealed transmission which means no stick. The only way to check it, is to bring it to a shop or the dealer. Don't ya luv it when they do that? If it were me, I would have them drain the fluid and fill it with new. Best thing for it.

Usta be that we checked them by pulling the VSS or Speedometer drive and they were marked for fluid level. Maybe I'm too old to know what the newer ones do nowadays. 2008 should be about the latest units I did transmissions on.

Ty both, I think my problem is that the transmission is just going!!
