Hello, If you are going to be doing some work on your Tahoe, I highly recommend purchasing a service manual. Here is a link to eBay where you should be able to find one relatively cheaply: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=1999+tahoe+manual&category0=&submitSearch=Search I believe the shut-off can be found behind the front bumper, though am not positive on this one. 99 tahoe not starting looks like theres nothing happening when u turn key do u think it could be short
