Hey y'all I gotta 1999 Chevy Tahoe,  I'm
having troubles with. It keeps bogging down,  
and loosing power. I have an OBD1 tester
but I can't hook it up  (tester box is under the
dash). Anyone got any suggestions?

First of all it is a OBD 2 car. Get the right code reader and post the codes.

Apparently, yes it is an OBD2. Do you have ant suggestions other than get he correct reader? I have an OBD1 My book says OBD1 is for 1986 -2001. I'm just trying to find out other then the obvious (over fill sensor ) if there may be a more serious problem.

You know just for S $ G I'm gonna buy The OBD2 and add it to my collection! I'm no spit n shine mechanic but Hell I might as well try my luck at it. C'mon people I'm just trying to get this truck runnin without being a sucker.

OBD2 is 1996 and up for almost all cars. Without the codes who can tell?
