Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Situation:  I went to open my rear passenger door, not knowing it was locked, I pulled
the handle and it stayed stuck open in a flimsy position, the door did not open and now
I'm not able to open it from the inside or outside... any suggestions?  Seems like some
sort of spring mechanism is stuck or broke and won't release the door hatch.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hey Tom - Yes, I thought I had; however, apparently I didn't because I just did it and the door pushed shut, and the handle snapped back in. Wow, I feel dumb. The handle still seems a bit loose, like it could stay open again if pulled open the correct way, have you heard of that? Otherwise, door is opening and shutting, handle has snapped back in like I said. Really appreciate the advice!
