When I put her in reverse it takes a couple seconds to react but drives fine in
drive and reverse as long as I wait a couple second for reverse.. Can this be a
dirty filter should I replace filter and throw quart of lucus.
This is a transmission issue, not the transfer case. It cannot hurt to try the Lucas.
Thank you I had rebuilt the transfer case. 2wh worked great 4wh didn't it's gonna be my plow truck. Transfer case did need it for 4 wh but damm if I would of noticed having the transfer case out I would of dropped trans also but I bought a very very clean 1999 Tahoe for $800 my guy will rebuilt trans for $300 I do all my own labor it's only for plowing I'm baby reverse n if I can make it threw the winter I'm drop in fix after that's the only time truck will be driven let's hope lucus helps a bit.
