how many miles does a full tank get?

its easy to figure out yourself by filling up & reset the trip odometer & see how many miles you go before you have to fill up again.

@Trip65 my gas gauge doesn't work and I'm not going to run my truck out of gas to find out how many miles I can drive so how do I do it now... I usually reset trip every time I fill up and just run 200 miles and fill up again... that gets old. I'd like to know an average of how many miles I can run before refilling... so if ya don't have an answer to the original post why comment.... to look stupid?

I have a 2002 chevy tahoe with a quarter tank left, how far can i go before i run out of gas ? (5.3 V8)

Some how I see that those of us who have messed up gas gaudge would just have reset our trip and run out of gas to find out. I just bought one and have filled up at 160 miles but I'd like to how many miles its expected to go per tank of gas. And what the gas milage is like in town and on the highway since I can't figure it out the easy way. Let's hope non of us whose gaudge don't work end up having to replace the fuel pump after we test it running it out on empty cause who knows how the vechail was treated before we got it.
