1999 Chevy Tahoe only starts when I remove the 50A battery fuse, only clicking from the dash otherwise

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

About a month ago my car started clicking like mad under the dash on the drivers side
when I out the key in the ignition. The car wouldn't start at all, no sounds when turning
the key (other than the clicking like a turn signal but faster and not in rythm). The
security light comes on and turns off regularly so I don't think it's VAT related. The
strange thing is that if I remove the 50A battery fuse from the fuse box under the hood,
the car starts fine, but of course everything connected to that 50A battery fuse doesn't
work. I don't know what the clicking is but think it's the source of whatever the problem
is. Help? thanks.

I checked under the driver and passenger side dash for all wires, and don't see any that aren't connected, thanks for the suggestion though.
