VW beetle o2 sensor compatibility

Asked by Khaleyha Sep 15, 2018 at 05:56 PM about the 2002 Volkswagen Beetle GLS TDi

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it possible to use an upstream o2
sensor from a 1.8 gas beetle as
upstream for a 1.9 diesel? Can't seem
to find information anywhere and
especially can't find an upstream o2
sensor for the 1.9 specifically.

1 Answer

I really, really doubt it. Look up the part numbers for both, unless they are the same don't do it.
