Might have a bad cell in the battery. Only way to know is to give the battery a load test. Good Luck!

I had the same problem when I changed my bat. I had to get to work so I let it sit for a day and took my truck to work. When I got home I tried to start it and it turned over without incident. Damned VW's and their VOODOO. I think it has something to do with the auto theft system. Bottom line......leave it alone for a day or two and then try again. I think something has to reset and it does but it takes awhile. Good luck.
