Starting issue on 98 passat 1.8t

I have a 98 vw passat 1.8t that won't start  when I
turn the key it cranks and splutters but doesn't
start I've replaced the crank shaft position sensor
and the cam shaft position sensor I've tried
jumping it and pop starting it with no luck no codes
are thrown

Check fuelpump and fuellpump relay. u can check this by control if any fuel pressure builds up in the fuelrail. it`s a good place to start looking and not so expensive. after that it`s time to check ignition, are sparkplugs ok? ignition coil? ignition cable and so on.... good luck 2 u
