Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 passat 1.8t that is having trouble accelerating and not sure what
it might be. I was driving the other day and car began to shutter and then
stalled when I came to a stop. Iran code and it said MAF high input so
replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor and car ran fine for 2 days. Just yesterday I
was driving though town and the car began to stutter and shake when
accelerating. It felt like the transmission was in to high a gear for my speed but
the car is shifting fine and at the correct shift points. My thought is it might be
fuel filter but I'm not sure... Any suggestions?
