I lost my oil pin and all my oil leaked out now it wont start

I don't believe that it would. I use to own a 2000 Passat and I am almost positive that it did not have one. Usually the low oil light will come on and that is your warning. If you shut down early enough you maybe able to unlock it manually but the starter wont be able to turn it over it is not strong enough.

if you lsot all your oil and tried to start or drive the car then you are not smart. With out oil your engine would seize up during running due to friction. It would also ware out all the pistons and valves. Get your car serviced asap and hopefully nothing is damaged.
