2000 vw passat glx2.8 v6 manual trans overheats and blows out coolant but has no leak

have had compression test, pressure test, cylinder leak test, and the system burped for
air and the mechanic can't find anything wrong with it

you obviously have a clog or a bad water pump. I would probly guess that the water pump has probly had all the fins break off at some point if its not been done in a long time. when was the last time you had the timing belt done? and if you had it done did you do the recomended replacements that go with it ussaly that includes the water pump, thermostat, all the pulleys and the tesnioner and bolts. If your car has not had this done in over 90,000km your running on barrowed time with a 2.8L engine.
