my 1999 chevy van started bucking after warmed up and temperature gage goes up when left idlying why

when driving pass 50 plus miles my van starts bucking the mechanic did so
many things and still not working properly.  Also the van temperature gage will
go up when the car is in parked.  Please help.  Need to get it fixed soon.

Wish you had a list of what your mechanic has checked. So my first guess would be to check the fuel pressure, and check cap, rotor, wires & plugs. The heating thing, possible the cooling system may need a flush, or the fan clutch may need replacing,
