Put a volt meter on your battery with the engine off. It sounds like you have a dead battery. Either that or your connections are loose or corroded. If you charged your battery and drove the car, it should still be fully charged. Charge the battery again and start the car. Put the volt meter on the hot side of the alternator. If not putting out 14 volts, you may have a bad alternator which is not charging your battery. If you get 14 volts, the battery is bad and needs replacing.

Sounds like the immobilizer is faulty. Do you have another key to try? Look for a little wrench symbol lit up in the cluster as you're cranking it over.
