Air Conditioning Turns off

Asked by Barly Aug 05, 2015 at 12:20 PM about the 2006 Mazda MAZDA6 i Sport 4dr Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The air conditioning will be running when the car is running.  When the car is turned off
and then restarted, the air conditioning is off and the AC button must be pushed for the
AC to begin working.  Should not have to engage the AC every time the car is started.

All the electronic buttons in your car are connected to your ECU. I don't know if you just bought that car but that is how your ECU is programmed.
