06 Mazda 6 is jerking when accelerating

Asked by abbynichole1234 Feb 08, 2019 at 11:26 PM about the 2006 Mazda MAZDA6 i Sport 4dr Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My vehicle is around 140k miles. It has viberated
while idled for awhile now. More recently, when
accelerating it is very jerky (kind of sputters like
when your running out of gas). It has yet to die or
completely stop but the problem is becoming
worse. I've been told fuel
pump/vaccum/coils/spark plugs/trans. Any
suggestions what it could be or where I should
start?
