Oil light flickering, car jerking, not accelerating

My 2004 Mazda oil motor and trans oil is good, yet
while completely stopped and on drive or reverse,
the oil light will flicker. With every flicker the motor
would jerk and rumble oddly. The gears also change
very rapidly. Like I could be going at 25 miles an
hour and it would already be on gear 5. Several
times while accelerating the vehicle would struggle
to accelerate and all of a sudden no acceleration
happens and the rpms start to decelerate and I had
to pull over several times to shut off and restart the
car. Also while driving at 60 miles an hour I noticed
the gears shifting between 5 and 4. But i manually
shifted the gears and they shift just fine. I don't
know if there's a sensor problem, an oil sensor
problem, a crank shaft sensor problem, oxygen
sensor. I wish I knew.

If this is the low oil pressure light the engine problems may be due to lack of oil pressure (lubrication) in which case your engine is probably toast. Have a mechanic verify the oil pressure before driving it anymore. Is the check engine light on? If so have the codes read and post them here.
