Right sliding door keeps backing up and won't close unless I push and hold it closed. Then, while driving the locking mechanism keeps trying to lock constantly.

Is this supposed to be a motorized type affair, or is pushing it closed to latch needed? does the little light come on lettin' you know the door is open? there IS as switch that tells it 'door is open', perhaps this switch is faulty as it seems to not know the door has been closed.
