98 Chevy cavalier ran fine then randomly won't start

Asked by Lilahwolfe Jan 30, 2019 at 09:17 AM about the 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We were driving down the road fine then we
noticed the heat turning on and off and the car
stalled out a few times then finally died completely.
We've been having issues with it not really wanting
to crank upon startup and now it won't even click
when trying to start it. We know we have a
computer issue involving the knock sensor. As well
as the traction control module isnt working
properly due to computer and the coolant is dirty.
Otherwise great all around. Possibly a blown
engine?

Thank You! We just really need some type of guidance to see where the issue could possibly be before we over do it and end up working around the issue instead.
