is my 95 Mazda mx6 v6 2.5L an intrusion type motor (timing belt broke)

Timing belt broke and wife turned motor over two times if it an intrusion type
then she most likely cracked a piston or bent a valve

Yes more than likely,there is head damage,but dont blame your wife for trying to crank it,it is what is called and interference engine,meaning the damage was done when belt broke,not from trying to crank it afterwords.

thank you, she was happy to hear some of that answer so how do i know for sure it is this type of motor car was built in Canada and to what extent of likely damage are we possibly looking at?

Have the compression checked on engine,if compression show,s good,you can just replace the belt and drive on,but if compression shows bad,you will have to have head replaced or reworked,
