My 06 audi a6 quattro just started cutting out and now will start right up then dies. Esp light is on

My 06 audi a6 quattro just started cutting out and now will
start right up then dies. Esp light is on.  Before this
happened sometimes it would rev up and down after being
started but evened out after it warmed up. Just wondering
if there is anything I can do myself to fix. Thanks

Mine does have he same exact thing I have a a8 4.2 doing just like your did you find what was wrong
