Can I use a fuel pump from a 4 cylinder engine and put it in a v6 engine

I have a 98 Chevy Malibu I have both car a 4
cylinder I wrecked and a v6 that the fuel
pump is not working. Can I use the fuel
pump from the 4 cylinder and put it in my v6
trying to not spend 300 if not necessary
