My nissan pathfinder 2006 does not get current to the air conditioning
compressor

It is probably just low on refrigerant charge which activates a cut-off switch. Recharge it and it should kick on when it reaches a higher pressure. When this happens, I like to gently warm the refrigerant can with a hair dryer to push the refrigerant into a system that is not yet pumping. An empty system will hold two 14 ounce cans of 134a. If that doesn't work, check the fuse and relay for the A/C compressor.
