Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My car ran out of gas, wenoht gas in it and bam it
wouldn't start..cit was dead but wr gave it a jump
and it still wouldn't start. We changed the fuel
pump, the crankshaft sensor, the relays are good.
There's no fuel pressure and the fuel pump isn't
engaging. Once I changed that crankshaft sensor it
started but died right away after like 3 seconds.

I am already using a newer key I had to have cut bc my original key broke into the ignition several months ago. I don't know what you mean by security mode
When you crank it do you see a security light flashing or on solid? Lower part of instrument cluster.
OK, Did you check fuses? fuel pump relay? main fuse?
SO. You have spark and no fuel, correct? Did you recheck your work when replacing the fuel pump?

Correct. And I didn't do the fuel pump actually I've done everything else. I guess I will check that myself as well.
