i just bought a slightly used 96 volvo 850 sedan. drove it a couple of days ran fine until i decided to check the fuses and took a good look all around the vehicle and opened the trunk with a key and ect. then tried to crank it and was truly suprized when it would not start thought maybe one of the fuses was just not making a good connection that did not work then i noticed a alarm light now on, on the top of the dash that comes on when you lock the doors or like i did open the trunk and close everything and tried to crank it again to no avail so can any one out there help with this non cranking volvo /????????? cant understand what happened . does something need to be reset since i pulled the fuses out or could this problem be connected to the now on and off alarm system i had not noticed until this not starting problem please help

I would check Auto Zone, they are pretty knowledgeable of alarms and what to do when the car wont start.
