Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey, my S70 keeps bringing up the P0300 code. I have replaced the cap and rotor and I also did the plugs and wires. Anyone know what I should do next??
Thanks for the help!

Was this code coming up BEFORE replacing those parts? If so, what brand parts did you buy? These car's are picky about ignition parts. If it was happening before your next item is the ignition coil.

You did wires on an S70? There are no wires. There are 5 seperate coil packs. You need to switch a couple of coil packs around and keep checking the OBD code as you do. Eventually you will isolate the bad coil and then just buy that coil pack from Autozone or Napa or anywhere they are sol. Cap Rotor

The 1998 S70 (As well as V70 and XC70) Has a distributor ignition system (Cap, Rotor, Wires, Coil, Ignitor) The 1999 and 2000 S70 (And V70, XC70) Uses Coil on Plug.

It is located near the left of the airbox, and is driven by the intake camshaft just like the Volvo 850.
