Check out www.stchiptuning.com, www.hurricane-horsepower.com, or www.nextlevelracing.com. Be aware that many mods are available for the 3.0L engine but less attention is paid to the 2.8L engine.

Dinan cold air intake, free flow exhaust and software upgrade. All 3 should add about 25-30 hp.

Don't expect anywhere near the stated claims. I would still upgrade your intake & exhaust, but the real power will come from a supercharger. This is one of the most common upgrades for the Non-M cars.

paxton makes a supercharger kit for it and i was really suprised that it is still going strong without any lower end engine upgrades.i worked at the dealer when it was bought and was the only one to work on it from 1999 to 2009.and i still see the car around town.
