First Time Car Buyer Seeks Advice on 06 Mitsubishi Lancer ES

Asked by Sonja Jun 03, 2016 at 02:04 PM about the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm considering purchasing a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer with 130k miles on it.
The seller says it runs perfectly well with no leaks or issues.  No accidents,
clean carfax report.

What should I pay attention to when I test drive it?
What are the first things I would look into replacing and/or repairing, and
the pricing of such?
Should I just take it in for a general check up?

What do repairs on a mutsubishi generally cost?

I would pass on the Mitsu- buying a used car is a gamble, especially if it is a brand that is nearly extinct-
