Does the motor crank at all - or does it crank and just not run? Blown head gasket wont completely shut down a motor (unless it seizes) but it can make it run too rough to not sustain combustion, especially if the gasket goes between combustion chambers. You mention a possible problem with fuel filter/pump, so maybe a fuel pressure test is needed.

like i say it just shut off like you turned the ignition of and will not start all, it shut down just like my ford ranger did and i had to put a electronic module back on it it might very well be the computer brain what u think and do u know where its located

it has been smoking for a while it needed valve guide seals bad, plus the compression on 1, 2, & 4 cylinders was at one time was at 139 and #3 was 109, do u think #3 leaked all the way down and caused the shutdown or do you think it more the computer

Maybe check main fuse. A knock sensor can also shut an engine off in a snap, you may have a trouble code set if it was a sensor that caused the shut down. Example, the timing went out so the knock sensor detected the timing was off and immediately shut the engine off to prevent it from being damaged.

ok where is the main fuse

now i checked the main timing belt from the top cover it seemed to be ok if the main timing belt is work could the balance shaft belt still be ok or if it breaks it can miss time and shut down the motor like i say from the top cover thmain timing belt seems ok

can u tell me where the computer brain is on a mighty max 1994 model on a 2.4 engine

Most likely the timing belt. My mitsubishi mighty max did the exact same thing just going down the road. All of a sudden it was like i turned the key off. It was the timing belt.
