I have an '05 Buick Park Ave Ultra and the struts and shocks may or may not had them replaced. Do you think that I can do an 800 miles round trip with them?

Hard to answer without a visual inspection. Knowing the year and assuming mileage, my car...they would have been replaced. That weight sits on them for all those years and they get bouncy. Most tests say to look for leakage on strut towers and on the shocks. Not hard to change struts or shocks. Save $ also

you can move the front or back of the car by hand there should be a fair amount of resistance , if it easily bonces up and down then they are worn and may cause a problem on the highway , you'll know after the trip . If you have the load leveling air shock in the back you can go with a coil over conversion shock , I went original and they seized up on me , they weren't cheap either .
