what kind of car do you have and does the car have delay on the headlights

04 Park Ave probably has twight sentenal ....try turning off the delay and if you cannot turn them off, the headlight sw assembly or there is also a relay one of them is bad.

The same thing happened with my 2000 Buick Park Avenue. The self balancer in the rear fuse under the back seat shorted out and it was causing my headlights to staying on and running the battery. Take it out and if your lights go off that's the problem. You don't need it so just leave it out
