Did the dimmer switch get turned all the way up and kick the dome light on?

I have a 2003 Buick Park Avenue base and as soon as I turn off the engine my interior dome lights stay on for 2 or 3 minutes and the only way I've found that can get them to shut off sooner is if I open the door close it and then hit the lock button... other than that you just have to wait the few minutes for it to turn off that I know of....

I'm guessing that it has automatic lights? Try manually turning them on and back off when you turn the car off. It works for my 02 grand caravan
