If its low add some in do not over-fill it. Allow time for it warm up as you add trans fluid in as it is to be checked warm in park while running. Trans fluid expands as warmed up to operating temp.
How long should I let the car run before I check the transmission fluid? Like till it idle or just let it run a full 15 minutes then check it?

The trans cooler lines are ran into the radiator so until the engine temp is in the normal range. When cold the engine acts a warmer up for the trans then when both reach normal temp the engine's radiator (since trans cooler lines are in radiator) keep them both at normal temps.

After you add fluid allow about 5 minutes for that fluid to warm up and expand before re-checking fluid level and then adding in more fluid if needed.
When the proper amount of fluid is added and the car still doesn’t move do I get a transmission flush were they change the filter or just purchase another transmission?

Well on yours it may be in the middle (depends on temp rating of thermostat) but on most I have seen is less than half way, closer to the cold side, if you do not have a temp gauge then yes about 15 minutes upon first cranking to allow engine to reach normal temp.

Well if adding fluid does not help then it needs to be diagnosed as it may not need re-built or a new one but yes it is possible that it will need a new one, I can not see inside it so It will need to be looked at and checked out, it may be something easy to fix or it could need taken completely apart to fix and since apart then rebuilt too, or just get a used one from another car with one that works and install into it.

Could be a trans solenoid just hard to say if adding fluid does nothing have a trans shop check it out.
