why do I have to pay to mole skin on before I tint the widows?

I'm being told that I have to pay additional for mole skin to be applied prior to getting my windows tinted. The 2008's have the window seal on them, when will FORD have a recall on the 2007 to fix this problem?

i have never heard of this, unless it has to do with the rear window defrost i know some won't work after tinting.may be something new. no i see no reason for a recall on this.

Yes, this isn't a defect, so it likely won't be recalled. Don't know what you should have to pay to have this done, perhaps you are being scammed? Contact another tint shop to get an idea.

I would shop around for prices . I never heard of "mole skin' , and I have had no problems with my rear defog after having tint applied.
Yes,they are correct that you should put Moleskin on the bottom of your windows if you don't want to scratch your new tint job. You don't have to pay someone to do it....you can do it yourself. Check out this link below with pictures and detailed instructions on how to. I'm a member of that forum and suggest if you own a Mustang to check it out.
