Question type: Maintenance & Repair

have a 97 cavalier 2.2l engine blew up 4'' hole in front of block and 6'' hole in
the back. unaware at the time till now its too late, i found an engine for the car
another 2.2l but out of a 95 cavalier. identical until ignition. so with that being
said i know the 97 engine utilizes a camshaft position sensor for cal no 1 tic
and the 95 uses a crankshaft position sensor for cyl no 1 tdc, is it possible to
wire the 97 harness to make the pcm think is a cmp not a ckp? and will it run
and run correctly?
