Why does my car make a clicking sound when I apply the breaks

Hello, The clicking sound can be caused by warped front rotors. To test to confirm this, make a sharp brake from a higher speed, such as 45mph. If the car shakes violently, it is most likely warped rotors. Best of luck! CarGrrl
take it to the dealer.. they will fix it for free.. they did mine
I agree take it in... Generally a 'click' isn't a warped rotor that's generally more of a pulsing groan... A 'click' makes me think something is loose or there is a hairline crack. In any situation take it in...
may be because of the wheels must stay long in the water .so that sound may occurs.. Traffic School
First off, they are BRAKES, not breaks... Piston is sticking the popping out hard.? Lube parts and piston.
