Dodge Caliber very little heat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Caliber is being a pain in the can. I had radiator issues in June and
it got flushed then. Now that its cooling off I went to use the heater and the
heat isn't blowing more than luke warm. I've checked coolant and it's up, but
the other things to check online I can't find in the engine compartment.
Unfortunately I have the mechanical skill of warm water, and am not sure
what else to do. The car isn't overheating, it's just barely shy of midrange,
but I cannot get heat to save my life. I can hear the door slap shut inside
when I adjust the heat level, so I don't think it's the blend door. Does anyone
have any suggestions?

I can hear the blend door closing, and coolant is fine. I'm not sure where the thermostat is on this car

I'm not sure where those are on the car, though I did just notice something. I only have half of my temperature control lit up. Does this have any possibilities?

check your temp guage .if it goes up when are you sitting after driving .then goes down when you drive again .it is in most cases the thermostate is stuck open .the low heat in the car is a common sign fot this
