2008 limited edition MKX currently have 165,000 miles, owned for 5 years only needed 1 repair/part replacement to transmission cooler, 2 batteries, regular oil changes, that's it. Hoping for another two years of carefree driving!

I have a 2010 with 87000 miles and regular oil changes. Do you all get all of the antifreeze and power steering flushes too? I never know if I really need those or not. I do want me car to last a long time. I haven't had any issues with it other than a battery change and the occasional nail in my tire, but no mechanical issues.

My car is a 2009 MKZ and it has 185k on it, had it for 5 years and never any major problems. I drive this car everywhere and I start and stop it 6-10 times daily and still rides good as when I first got it. The only thing I've had in the shop for besides tires and oil was brakes, rotors and a tie rod.

I bought a 2009 Lincoln mkx in late 2014 with about 50,000 miles on it. Main surprise problem was when the a/c fan went out while driving during the summer in Houston, Tx. Turned off the a/c which corrected the high reading on temp. guage. Got the fan replaced when returned home. Had spark plugs replaced at about 92 K. The manual had said do at 90000. They looked pretty bad. Have had dealer do regular maintenance. They flush the tranny at 30,000 miles. Also other cleaning procedures. Intifreeze, injector cleaning, air and cabin filters, oil changes at 5000 using mobile 1 synthetic oil and their pricey oil filter. Dealer uses the trannies own pump to do the flush. Don't know how that works. Some Quick changing stations use a higher external pressure system. You can't change the tranny filter without removing the engine. My odometer just turned to 111,115 around May 13 2020. Was hoping to get a photo with 111,111 but forgot just before a short trip to store. I think I can go at least 222,222. Hope I have the right photo on here. Drives really quiet and smooth with good acceleration.

I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 MKX for $3000 with 190,925 miles. Would this be a good purchase? I'm worried with the mileage being so high...Would love to be able to get around 250,000 miles out of it. What do ya'll think?
