Blinker and reverse light not working

Asked by Adriarna Jul 06, 2019 at 10:18 PM about the 2007 Ford Edge SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My right reverse light went out about a month ago
on my 2007 ford edge suv, The other day I was
turning into a parking lot when i noticed my right
blinker was blinking extremely fast inside the car
and i noticed something was off about the sound. I
left the right blinker on and went to check it, It
wasnt blinking at all, I tapped it and it went back
on. Now today same thing happened, I tried
tapping it again and nothing. Wondering if this
could be an electrical problem or just a bulb. If
anyone has any advice let me know thanks

So if the housing that receives the bulb which indicates direction of turn, How do you remove corrosion and/or dirt within the connector ends ? I have this very same issue with my 2007 Ford Edge Sel AWD suv...my email is arlowepare1973@yahoo.com if anyone has answer to this issue...i keep opening tail light and fix it but it then returns back to fast flash for turn left indication. Im due 4 inspection the end of this month 2020.
