Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 MB C230 Sport Sedan won't start and steering wheel locked after I tried to auto adjust the steering wheel positions. I have had fuel pump, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter and all spark plugs replaced when the ESP warning message appeared and the steering became stiffed. So I took it to a car computers specialist. He diagnosed and found the steering angle sensor was faulty so he got it replaced and that's 2.5 weeks ago. But the steering somehow become stiffed very heavy like before and it's getting worst each day. Yesterday I tried to auto adjust the steering positions (first time I did that) and tried to start the car but it just won't start and the steering's locked! Please help....

Try to adjust the steering wheel to a position where the car will start. I suspect there is a problem inside the steering column.

I got the mechanic who did the fuel pump in to check and he told me it's the aftermarket fuel pump... again? I just don't understand.
