Is it safe/do you know of a good source to download the PDF of the owner's
manual? Thanks

They are out there and thank you. It is just I am neurotic, don't know much about technology and afraid to download malware if that can be prevented. My mind cannot comprehend why someone would make the effort and take the time to upload a 500 page manual for my benefit, without an ulterior motive. Mr. Crazy signing off and thanks again.

M-B apparently only has 10 years of owners' manuals available on line and available directly from them.

I download a lot of manuals and have not had a problem so far. I would think the MB website would be safe.
