how do i adapt a 2007 CLK Mercedes coupe phone system to newer technology

it has a phone system  no cradle    i want to use bluetooth and the phone is it
possible to adapt

Yes but it is pricy. Your dealer can do it with the newest system sold by MBZ.

My wife bought an old 2003 CLK 320 with that had offered a phone system when new but this car did not have it. I asked a dealer if one could be put in. He said it could, but it would be one of the new ones, that is very expensive, but has all the new bells and whistles. The old one are not as efficient so are not offered.
