Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I just purchased a new 2007 E320 Bluetec Diesel. I also own a 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Motorcycle weight about 850lbs, a custom enclosed trailer 6' X 10' weight about 1200lbs. Can a trailer hitch be installed on the Mercedes? What would be the weight limits? Would I be over those weight limits? Would it affect the manufactures warranty?

I see no reason why a trailer hitch could not be installed on this vehicle. My first stop would be the dealer, to see what Mercedes optioned towing hitches are available. If they are unable to assist you, try a U-Haul store, where hitches are available for sale and installation. I wouldn't think you'd want to tow more than about 1000-1500 lbs with this vehicle to avoid overheating the transmission and causing unnecessary wear and tear.
WHY on earth would you want to tow your motor bike with a Mercedes-Benz E320 Bluetec? thats to the dumbest thing ive ever heard, im sorry. I know it can do, i pulled a bush out the ground with it, the roots were longer than the bush, but still.
Tiger should get one for his landscaping work. You make a good point.
