what does service D means in my 2007 SLK 280

Service D ,mean,s it is do for service,there are setting,s in the ecm that tell,s the mileage of the car,and which service interval it need,s,it start,s with A,B,C,D,And E,it can be reset ,but it take,s a certain key turn sequence,but i think this service is,timing belt check,so may need to have it checked,,
