2007 Hyundai Accent over heated once fixed it and now and won't run for more then 20 minutes then just shuts down. have any idea what could be wrong?

2007 Hyundai Accent over heated once fixed it and now and won't run for more then 20 minutes then just
shuts down. have any idea what could be wrong?

the pickup tube on the coolant reservoir. sounds loco, but as a mechanic toiled with this very problem only to find a small tube about 1/8 and 8" long should be connected to the cap. if this isn't there the overflow will not work properly. I'll buy you lunch if you go to the overfill tank pull off the black stopper and the little tube is swimming in the coolant, rather than being connected....solution, stuff that tube where it used to belong and cross your fingers it doesn't happen again!

be sure to fill the reservior to the line there. not full. we need expansion, that's what the little tube that fell off is supposed to help with. look on the side, you'll see the line. fill up to this line with coolant.

used to go to rufus king, dad was a bigshot, lived on the east side....Milwaukee? ring any bells? went to your glorious castle one time--you had it good.
