Check engine light came on,Dealership put on the machine and says its oil control valve. Parts and labor $538. If oil control valve doesn't correct it then the cam gear will need to be replaced. 1 Answer
Cam gear repair $2950. Parts for oil valve and cam gear $310 each. Sounds strange that the parts are the same cost. Does this sound typical? Mileage 181468 Thanks, Denise

Why does my car still running rough and vibrating after making the repairs and replacing the parts and even worse when I put it into gear especially reverse. 6 Answers
I replace the coil packs spark plugs and engine strut mount. And the engine light is still on and still shooting the same codes. Saying number 1 and number 2 cylinder is still misfiring.
