Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Toyota Corolla makes a "clunking" sound the FIRST time I put it in
drive. Won't do it again until I put it in reverse. It will do it if I alternate DRIVE to
REVERSE.  Also, will make the noise while accelerating slowly around a turn,
but not every time.  Something loose in the suspension?

I think you may have a CV joint going bad. I would also check the wheel bearings.
